Job Summary
Leads a team in harnessing advanced data science techniques to address complex business challenges and drive performance; oversees development of predictive models and data-driven insights; collaborates with cross-functional teams to define data analysis needs, designs experiments, and translates complex models into business-focused recommendations for senior leadership. Responsibilities include developing and implementing algorithms for data integration and large-scale analysis, applying statistical methods and ML to extract actionable insights, forecasting customer behavior, and promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making. Requires mentoring and guiding a team of data scientists, prioritizing workstreams, and aligning analytics with business objectives; requires ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Data Bricks, and SQL
- Ability to translate complex mathematical models and AI capabilities into business insights for senior leadership
- Experience leading a team of data scientists
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in data analytics/science
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of predictive modeling, data mining, statistical methods, and machine learning
