Job Summary
Oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing management of individualized behavior support services for individuals with complex behavioral and mental health needs. Supervise Registered Behavior Therapists and support Board Certified Behavior Analysts while ensuring all Behavior Support Plans comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Monitor program effectiveness through data analysis, incident reports, and quality assurance activities, and lead crisis response planning to ensure safety. Facilitate training on behavioral support strategies, de-escalation techniques, and regulatory compliance for multidisciplinary teams. Collaborate with families, caregivers, residential providers, schools, and funding agencies to achieve high-quality, person-centered outcomes. Assist with program expansion strategies and maintain accurate records required for compliance and program improvement.
Required Qualifications
- A four-year degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or a related field
- minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a behavioral health or support services setting
- approved combination of education and work experience
- Current RBT certification
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience with publicly funded support systems
- Knowledge of applicable laws and standards (e.g., Lanterman Act, IDEA, HCBS Waiver)
- Strong understanding of positive behavior support principles and behavior analytic strategies
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
