Manager - Engineering

Develop and implement improvements to manufacturing processes and equipment alternatives, including determining tooling requirements and sequence of operations for production of parts. Drive operational excellence via efficient process design and ensure continuous improvement in process, cost, quality, and production. Manage engineering projects and resolve engineering problems, providing input to strategic decisions affecting manufacturing technologies. Oversee a team within a discipline or department (career/intermediate professionals or Supervisors) and control the Engineering department budget, expenses, and procurement from vendors. Ensure compliance with safety, ISO, and SAP implementations, and maintain plant safety procedures for chemical handling; contribute to maintenance of utility systems and critical safety equipment; monitor inventory of critical spares; support regulatory compliance and cost control. Education and experience requirements emphasize a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical engineering with 10-12 years of relevant plant maintenance experience in Pharma/Chemical manufacturing, including leadership responsibilities.
