Job Summary
Lead and mentor a team of data science and engineering specialists focused on video intelligence, overseeing the design and delivery of analytics, observability, anomaly detection, and AI-driven insights. Drive projects in the telemetry domain while establishing frameworks for robust dashboard reporting and ensuring adherence to coding standards and peer reviews. Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, communicate project status to senior management, and participate in the hiring process. Maintain industry awareness by benchmarking new technologies against market solutions. This role is located in Hyderabad, India, and is part of the international Playback Engineering team serving over 100 million anime fans globally.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years industry experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- experience to sustain our core values of excellence in operations, delivery, and engineering
- been a developer, technical leader, and an architect of front end customer facing applications
- developed solutions used by millions of users
- experience working with your product and program peers to help establish technology roadmaps
- experience leading technology leaders and driving important engineering programs
- hands-on experience developing in multiple code stacks - mobile, web, backend, db, infrastructure
