Job Summary
Lead engineering oversight and technical direction to ensure proper processes are followed throughout projects, while recruiting, selecting, training, and coaching staff. Coordinate work across engineering offices, cross-train employees on multi-client standards, and manage training schedules. Present technical solutions to key customers, respond to real-time concerns, and participate in client meetings or job site visits to deliver design data. Direct project teams at kickoffs to discuss scope, specifications, budgets, and safety requirements. Ensure project cost, quality, and schedule targets are met by conducting audits, reviewing time sheets, and approving expense statements. Collaborate with Business Development to maintain a consistent workflow pipeline.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- ABET accredited preferred
- Masters degree in Engineering Management or MBA, a plus
- Minimum 5 years in management
- Experience performing substation physical design
- Experience performing protection and control design
- Experience performing power systems studies
- Professional Engineering license, preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of both business and technical terminology

- Strong decision-making skills
- Excellent demonstrated communication (written and verbal)

- Proven ability to develop and maintain financial plans
