Job Summary
The Manager of Engineering Programs is responsible for managing Fleet Engineering Program Areas to provide engineering services and technical support for the Vistra Nuclear Fleet. Key responsibilities include providing leadership to program personnel, maintaining design and licensing basis, facilitating staffing activities, and coordinating large projects and budgets. The role involves interfacing with state and federal regulators, resolving condition reports, and controlling costs to ensure safe and reliable plant operation.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in nuclear power
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
Desired Qualifications
- Technical understanding of nuclear plant processes, programs, and procedures
- Knowledge of nuclear codes, standards, and regulations
- Nuclear Programs Engineering experience
- Experience leading technical professionals, budgeting, planning, and scheduling
- SRO Certification or License
