Job Summary
Manager, Engineering responsible for leading multiple IT teams to deliver projects, small changes and BAU tasks; engage with Product, PMO, IT and third-party suppliers to align resources with priorities; drive agile adoption while maintaining delivery focus; ensure end-to-end delivery clarity, reporting, risks, issues and application health; manage budgets and KPIs; develop strong stakeholder relationships and ensure communication across IT and business teams; requires a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of IT leadership experience; proficient in coordinating cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects in an agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional qualification or experience
- 10+ years of experience in leading IT teams to deliver business goals
- Experience in full systems development lifecycle on multiple concurrent projects across a complex application estate
- Proven track record of driving the adoption of agile methodologies and using agile tools
- Significant experience of line management, coaching and mentoring
- Strong analytical skills and evidence of a proactive and pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Strong oral and written English communication skills including problem solving, prioritising and interpersonal relationship building
- Proven ability to work independently with little supervision and direct the work of others
- Proven ability to facilitate group discussion and build consensus
