Job Summary

Lead the Kestrel event search initiative to build a modernized, company-wide search interface for the Falcon platform, replacing the Advanced Event Search with a customizable, analyst-centric UI. Own the technical vision and roadmap for LogScale's frontend surface, including dashboards, data visualization, and query editing tools that enable security analysts to explore massive datasets. Drive hiring, retention, and growth of frontend engineers while fostering a culture of ownership and collaboration. Partner cross-functionally with Product, UX, and backend teams to translate customer needs into well-architected solutions, ensuring the codebase remains performant and accessible as the platform scales to over 100 PB of daily ingestion. Set engineering standards, manage delivery execution, and break down initiatives into shippable increments.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • strong foundation in frontend development
  • modern web frameworks (React, Ember, Angular, or similar)
  • languages like TypeScript and JavaScript
  • 2+ years of engineering management experience
  • leading teams of frontend or full-stack engineers
