Job Summary
The Electrical Engineering Manager oversees electrical engineering staff while performing design and analysis to support various field and fabrication offices. Responsibilities include supervising engineers, planning and scheduling major projects, and serving as a technical specialist. Candidates should have extensive engineering experience, supervisory skills, and expertise in industry standards and project management. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a Professional Engineer License are required.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 2+ years of previous engineering supervisory project management experience
- BS in Engineering from ABET accredited university
- Professional Engineer License or commitment to get PE licensure within one (1) year of accepting the job
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
Desired Qualifications
- In-depth experience in industry standards including NFPA, IEEE and API codes and practices
- Working knowledge of construction methods and best practices
- Knowledge of project management terms, metrics and procedures
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience with ETAP, EasyPower, SKM, PSS, or other modeling software
- Understanding of AutoCAD processes
