Job Summary
Manage end-to-end planning strategy and execution for the Spine product portfolio, collaborating across demand, supply, inventory, service, capacity, and supply risk to deliver financial and service goals. Govern planning methods, parameters, and escalation thresholds while driving inventory strategy, replenishment approaches, and safety stock levels. Lead exception-based and scenario-based planning to resolve imbalances and balance customer service, cost, and risk, then participate in S&OP/IBP forums to frame risks and recommendations for senior leadership. Drive planning readiness for new product introductions, lifecycle changes, and regulatory transitions while owning performance management across OTIF, forecast accuracy, and inventory days of supply. Lead and develop End-to-End Planning Analysts to build a high-performing team with clear goals and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of six (6) years of progressive supply chain planning, operations, or related business experience
- Demonstrated experience leading within one or more of the following functions: demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, S&OP/IBP, new product launch, or technical operations
- Experience working across organizational boundaries in a global, matrixed environment
- Advanced knowledge of ERP and advanced planning systems, including SAP, APO, OMP, or equivalent planning platforms
- Strong scenario planning, analytical, digital, and visualization capability, including Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or equivalent tools
- Proven business acumen across end-to-end supply chain, commercial priorities, financial trade-offs, inventory strategy, and executive-level communication
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to translate complex supply chain constraints into clear business options, trade-offs, and recommended decisions
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders across Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Regional Supply Chain, and Product Management teams
- English proficiency
- Availability for up to 10% domestic and/or international travel
Desired Qualifications
- An advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
- Experience supporting medical device, regulated manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences, or other complex global supply chain environments
- Experience with new product introduction planning, lifecycle management, portfolio transitions, regulatory transitions, or supply network changes
- Supply chain certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent credentials
- Additional language capabilities
