Job Summary
Lead the Company Electrical Engineering group by managing MV collection systems, HV substations, transmission lines, and BESS/Solar projects. Direct external EPC firms and third-party vendors on design constructability, budget adherence, and technical risk mitigation. Approve technical specifications for major capital equipment and oversee deliverables across Civil, Electrical, Controls, SCADA, and Structural disciplines. Develop protection philosophies, relay settings, and SCADA integration while ensuring compliance with codes and permitting requirements. Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to integrate engineering into project schedules and provide input for site selection and utility planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- Previous work leadership or senior level contributor experience
- Typically requires minimum of 10+ years in Electrical Power Systems
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
