Job Summary
Oversee the Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) and ECMO program under Cardiovascular Services, supervising ECMO/MCS specialists, coordinating clinical and operational plans, maintaining registries (ELSO and internal), and providing direct patient care for patients with MCSD. Responsible for education programs for patients, families, staff and community providers; ensure regulatory, accreditation, and policy compliance; manage MCS equipment, program outcomes, and budget; collaborate with physicians and management to drive strategic program initiatives; mentor staff, participate in hiring, and provide case management across pre/post-procedure processes.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in health care, related field or equivalent education and experience
- 3 years of relevant experience in MCS/ECMO
- 1 year of supervisory/charge experience
- CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC OR LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI Upon Hire required
- CRT-BLS - AHA Upon Hire OR CRT-BLS - ARC Upon Hire
- CRT-ACLS - AHA Upon Hire
- CRT-PALS - AHA Upon Hire OR PALS - AHA Upon Hire
