Job Summary
Lead the engagement team on the planning, execution, and completion of audit, review, or compilation engagements for Not-for-Profit clients. Oversee day-to-day operations including staffing, risk assessment, fieldwork, and financial reporting while supervising staff, seniors, and supervisors. Collaborate with partners to resolve client issues and manage multiple concurrent engagements to meet deadlines. Create and track engagement budgets, conduct constructive discussions on evaluations, and represent the firm to client management. Travel as needed for assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA license
- At least 5 years of public accounting experience
- Experience leading multiple engagements
- Experience supervising staff
- Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills
- Familiarity with US GAAP
- Exceptional client service and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects
- Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven innovative problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel as needed based on client assignments
Desired Qualifications
- Prior auditing experience with Not-For Profit companies
- Prior auditing experience with Higher Education
