Job Summary
The District Sales Manager is responsible for implementing the sales strategy, coaching and developing the sales execution team, and overseeing all elements of execution in Vancouver. This role includes leading a sales team, managing communication flow, developing sales strategies, and ensuring reps effectively grow their territories. Candidates should have a relevant university degree, a successful track record in sales management, strong analytical and presentation skills, and experience in the beverage alcohol industry. The position requires excellent communication abilities and a computer literacy across various applications.
Required Qualifications
- A University Degree or Comparable (Primary Focus on Business, Sales and/or Marketing)
- A track record of success in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills, and polished presentation abilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proven problem solving skills with a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with customers and peers
- Computer literacy, including the ability to create and modify PowerPoint presentations, Word and Excel documents
- Proof of valid Driver’s License
- Genuine interest and passion for the beverage alcohol industry
- Must be able to lift wine cases weighing up to 45 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the beverage alcohol industry
- WSET or ISG Certification
- Strong wine product knowledge and understanding of BC beverage alcohol industry
- Proven Experience or Certification in sales skills and negotiation
