Job Summary
Manager, Distribution Order Management leads and develops a Data Management team within Distribution Operations, overseeing order analysis and management, DEA forms processing for material movements, inventory quarantine/release via Quality Control, and inbound invoice processing. The role drives operational excellence through coaching, onboarding, and performance management, while championing compliance, client satisfaction, and cross-functional collaboration across Distribution Operations, Supply Chain, Order to Cash, Finance, IT, Serialization, and Client Success. Key responsibilities include team leadership and development, ensuring SLA adherence, process improvement and standardization of workflows (SOPs and work instructions), KPI-driven performance monitoring, and maintaining data accuracy and regulatory compliance. Strong emphasis on leadership, problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, client relationship management, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; pharma experience is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of strong supervisory experience in an hourly administrative employee environment
- Pharma experience preferred but not required
- Proficient in managing administrative workflows and optimizing operational processes
- Strong analytical skills and data interpretation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to lead and develop a team in a distribution/operations context
- Experience with SOPs and process documentation
- Customer-centric mindset and cross-functional collaboration
