Job Summary
Manager, Distribution leads the warehouse receiving and material movement team to ensure timely receipt and issuance of materials for manufacturing and order fulfillment; collaborates with Procurement to resolve supplier issues and improve receiving/inventory processes; drives continuous improvement, builds a trained team, and ensures compliance with Quality Management System, ISO 13485, MDSAP, MDDAP, and safety requirements; oversees KPI and cost-saving projects, external 3rd party warehouse management, and regulatory controls for Dangerous Goods; requires extensive warehousing and distribution experience and a Bachelor's degree, with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field
- Minimum 5 years of distribution management experience
- Extensive knowledge of distribution and warehousing processes, controls and best practices
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems and best practices
- Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, MDSAP, MDDAP and GMP/GDP systems and policies
- Familiarity with SAP ERP, WMS, GTS, Process Weaver and Fiori
- Ability to lead and develop a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement Principles
