Job Summary
Manager/Director of Bilateral Settlements in Carmel, IN leads and supervises bilateral settlement operations for physical gas, financial gas, and renewable settlements, overseeing settlement invoices, workflow/process improvements, data analysis, regulatory reporting (FERC, EQR, Form 552), team development, and system implementation for settlement/risk management software; requires strong leadership, analytical abilities, and expertise in energy accounting and regulatory requirements; travel ability requested.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Accounting, Economics or similar discipline
- 7 + years of energy industry or comparable experience
- An understanding of accounting and billing of energy transactions
- An understanding of accounting and billing of gas transactions and transmission service, capacity, and renewables
- Experience with automated accounting and risk management systems
- Experienced using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint along with accounting and settlement/risk system
- High degree of analytical skills
- Detail oriented skill set
- Effective written and oral communication skills as well as computer skills
- Customer service oriented
- Critical thinking and innovative skill set
- Ability to multi-task and is capable to identify responsibilities/task which can be delegated
- Dependable individual with high self-esteem
- Proactive individual with the ability to identify issues and contribute own ideas to solve problems in an effective manner
