Job Summary
Lead Converse's UX Design team by managing the day-to-day design portfolio across converse.com and direct marketing, balancing capacity against commerce and consumer service roadmaps. Drive major design bets including redesigns and go-to-market moments while staying hands-on in Figma to review and contribute to staff-level craft. Coach a team of UX Strategists and Designers on performance, career growth, and behavioral analytics insights from Contentsquare and Adobe/Google Analytics. Partner with merchandising, experience strategy, and product management to shape UX strategy and develop SEO tactics that support organic search performance. Represent design in cross-functional planning meetings and lead end-to-end engagements, including scoping and managing external design agencies.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in UX/product design
- 2+ years directly managing designers
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- E-commerce design experience
- Experience partnering with SEO stakeholders to develop strategy
- Understanding how design and content decisions affect organic search performance
- Working fluency in behavioral analytics tools like Contentsquare
- Comfortable interpreting Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics data to inform design decisions
