Job Summary

Manager, Digital Payments & Field Operations Canada is responsible for driving adoption of digital payment solutions across Canada with a strong focus on increasing same-site and new-site performance. The role sits at the intersection of digital platforms, payments, and field operations, ensuring deployment, adoption, and ongoing performance of solutions in real-world environments. Collaborates with Operations, IT, Product, Business Development, and Marketing across Canada and the United States to execute strategy, performance, and expansion of platforms at physical locations. Requires experience in environments combining digital transactions with physical/location-based operations (POS, payments, mobility, retail, or infrastructure). Key responsibilities include driving adoption and operational deployment, leading end-to-end rollout across multiple sites, acting as liaison between field teams and internal stakeholders, defining KPIs and strategic partnerships, tracking performance with dashboards, and delivering a consistent customer experience across platforms. Qualifications include a university degree and 5+ years in roles combining digital solutions and field operations; strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and bilingual French/English abilities.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in roles combining digital solutions (web, mobile, payments) AND operations or deployment in physical environments
  • Experience in multi-site or field-based environments (e.g., retail, payments, mobility, transportation, infrastructure, or similar)
  • Demonstrated experience with digital transactions or payment systems (POS, mobile payments, QR, or similar) is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of operational rollout, implementation, and adoption challenges in real-world environments
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across operations, IT, product, and commercial teams
  • Results-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Comfortable working in both strategic and hands-on operational contexts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Language requirements: bilingual French and English
