Job Summary
Develop and implement innovative online mobilization strategies using member engagement data to deepen activist action through online-to-offline organizing. Manage peer-to-peer engagement via the Member Center, creating online communities and facilitating collaboration between members, groups, and staff. Collaborate with regional managers to develop region-specific digital tactics and work with the Development team to draft content for hand raisers. Leverage tools such as Action Builder, Engaging Networks, and ROI to establish, track, and analyze KPIs related to supporter growth and mobilization outcomes. Provide strategic guidance and training to staff and member leaders on digital organizing best practices while fostering a culture of experimentation. Serve as a cross-departmental partner to integrate digital mobilization into broader campaign plans and support the Movement Mobilization Unit.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS and at least 7 years relevant experience
- MA/MS and 5 years relevant experience
- sufficient relevant work experience, including organizing experience that includes using digital tools to mobilize people
- Experience developing and organizing content for digital platforms including copywriting, production, and quality assurance
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis and using metrics to inform and adjust digital strategies
- Experience working with volunteers, members, and/or volunteer management
- Experience in training and facilitation
- Experience using CRM's, eCRMs such as Action Builder, Engaging Networks, Mobile Commons, P2P Thru Text, ROI and other digital tools
- Ability to occasionally travel
- Domestic travel up to 25% during the year
- Some weeknight and weekend work
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with volunteers, members, and/or volunteer management experience preferred
- Experience in training and facilitation preferred
- Experience using CRM's, eCRMs such as Action Builder, Engaging Networks, Mobile Commons, P2P Thru Text, ROI and other digital tools preferred to grow digital program
