Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •A post-secondary degree or diploma from a recognized institution in a related field
• •A minimum of five years of experience within the sports and/or live entertainment sectors, ideally with direct club experience
• •Deep knowledge of the game of hockey, including rules and terminology
• •Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate hockey games clearly and effectively
• •Working knowledge of web design and mobile application tools
• •Working knowledge of social media tools
• •Working knowledge of graphic design tools
• •Solid knowledge of digital marketing (social media, display, SEM, etc.)
• •Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• •Excellent writing ability with proofreading and grammatical skills
• •Proven ability to make critical decisions independently without supervision
• •Track record of building strong working relationships through effective communication, managing expectations, and conflict management
• •Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
• •Proactive and resourceful with an ability to 'make things happen'
• •Good balance of creative/communications instincts and logical, analytical skills
• •Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines while maintaining excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• •Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• •Possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
