Job Summary
Lead the Digital Assessing function to ensure efficient, customer-focused claims delivery while providing technical oversight for consistent, accurate, and policy-aligned claim decisions. Manage a team of Building Assessors with a minimum of 5–10 years of experience in the sector, supported by at least 3 years in leadership within the Short-Term Insurance Industry. Oversee technical competencies including risk identification, financial acumen, and data interpretation to maintain accurate documentation and decision-making across the portfolio. Drive practical approaches and procedural adherence to optimize claims processing for individuals, businesses, high net worth families, and multinational corporates within the Africa-focused financial services group.
Required Qualifications
- Matric/ Grade 12
- Short-Term Insurance qualification – NQF5 (Advantages)
- Civil Engineering, Construction and Physical Planning (Advantages)
- minimum 5 - 10 years experience as a Building Assessor
- Minimum 3 years experience within the Short-Term Insurance Industry in a leadership capacity
