Job Summary
Manager Diagnostic Imaging - Imaging Admin oversees all technical and clerical staff in the Imaging Services Department, ensures workflow of safe and effective patient care, and is directly responsible for the management of all services related to assigned operations. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with technical procedures, quality, JCAHO and State requirements, and collaboration with leadership. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Bachelor's Degree: for existing caregivers must obtain within 48 months of transfer date or equivalent education/experience
- Environmental orientation within 30 days of hire
- Unit specific competency within 90 days of hire
- Upon hire: California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification or California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit or California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or National Provider BLS - American Heart Association or National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists or National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- 6 years' experience in a healthcare environment with 4 years of supervisory experience
