Job Summary
Oversee all technical and clerical staff in the Imaging Services Department, managing workflows for safe and effective patient care. Direct supervision of technical procedures, Quality, JCAHO, and State requirements while ensuring assigned operations run smoothly. Maintain compliance with California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification and other required national certifications. Lead a team of caregivers in a patient-focused environment within St. Mary Medical Center's Imaging Services Department.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Bachelor's Degree
- Environmental orientation within 30 days of hire
- Unit specific competency within 90 days of hire
- California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification
- California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit
- California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification
- California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification
- National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Certification from American Registry for Radiologic Technologists
- 6 years' experience in a healthcare environment
- 4 years of supervisory experience
