Manager Diagnostic Imaging, Full Time, Day Shift

Job Summary

Coordinate all technical operations of the diagnostic imaging department, ensuring timely patient processing, emergent procedure prioritization, and optimized turn-around times. Monitor and direct the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) while maintaining image integrity and adhering to HIPAA and Joint Commission regulations. Supervise personnel through recruiting, hiring, training, performance evaluation, and scheduling to meet hospital productivity targets. Manage quality assurance, evaluate new business opportunities, and implement performance improvement programs. Assist in strategic resource planning by developing and overseeing departmental budgets for salary, operations, and capital. Research and recommend new technologies to increase departmental productivity.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
  • Certification or licensure in one of the following areas: ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT) or ARRT(MRI) or ARRT(M), or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with ARDMS or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Five years' registered technologist experience
  • One year's leadership experience
