Job Summary
Coordinate all technical operations of the diagnostic imaging department, ensuring timely patient processing while prioritizing emergent procedures. Supervise diagnostic imaging personnel through recruiting, hiring, orientation, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Monitor and direct the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), maintaining image integrity and HIPAA compliance. Manage quality assurance, evaluate new business opportunities, and implement performance improvement programs. Assist in strategic resource planning, develop department budgets, and recommend new technologies to increase productivity. Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and federal regulations. Bachelor's degree required with five years of technologist experience; Master's degree preferred. Full-time day shift role in Colusa, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Certification or licensure in one of the following areas: ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT) or ARRT(MRI) or ARRT(M), or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with ARDMS or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
