Manager Diagnostic Imaging, Full Time, Day Shift

Job Summary

Coordinate all technical operations of the diagnostic imaging department, including patient services, scheduling, finance, and equipment. Supervise diagnostic imaging personnel through recruiting, hiring, orientation, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Monitor and direct the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) to ensure timely processing and optimize turn-around times. Manage quality assurance, evaluate new business opportunities, and implement performance improvement programs while ensuring compliance with Joint Commission, state, and federal regulations. Assist in strategic resource planning and oversee department salary, operation, and capital budgets.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
  • Certification or licensure in one of the following areas: ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT) or ARRT(MRI) or ARRT(M), or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with ARDMS or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Five years' registered technologist experience
  • One year's leadership experience
