Job Summary
Coordinate all technical operations of the diagnostic imaging department, ensuring timely patient processing and optimizing turn-around times. Supervise personnel through recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations while managing departmental staffing against productivity targets. Monitor and direct the Radiology Information System and Picture Archiving and Communication System, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance. Manage quality assurance, evaluate new business opportunities, and oversee departmental budgets and capital planning. Research new technologies to increase productivity and implement performance improvement programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Certification or licensure in one of the following areas: ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT) or ARRT(MRI) or ARRT(M), or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with ARDMS or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Five years' registered technologist experience
- One year's leadership experience
