Job Summary
Manage daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department, including patient services, personnel, scheduling, finance, and equipment. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while supervising staff through recruiting, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and regular meetings. Coordinate technical operations to prioritize emergent procedures and optimize turn-around times, monitoring the RIS and PACS systems. Direct quality assurance efforts, evaluate new business opportunities, and implement performance improvement programs. Assist in strategic resource planning by developing and overseeing department budgets, recommending new technologies, and designing improved medical imaging protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Certification or licensure in one of the following areas: ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT) or ARRT(MRI) or ARRT(M), or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with ARDMS or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

- Five years' registered technologist experience
