Job Summary

Manage daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department, including patient services, personnel, scheduling, finance, and equipment. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while supervising staff activities, recruiting, hiring, and performance evaluations. Coordinate technical operations to prioritize emergent procedures and optimize turn-around times, monitoring the RIS and PACS systems. Evaluate new business opportunities, recommend improved protocols, and oversee departmental budgets and capital planning. Research new technologies to increase productivity and lead departmental committees and projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
  • Certification or licensure in one of the following areas: ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT) or ARRT(MRI) or ARRT(M), or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with ARDMS or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Five years' registered technologist experience
  • One year's leadership experience
