Job Summary
Manage daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department, including patient services, personnel, scheduling, finance, and equipment. Coordinate technical operations to ensure timely processing of patients while prioritizing emergent procedures and optimizing turn-around times. Supervise diagnostic imaging personnel, overseeing recruiting, hiring, orientation, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Monitor the Radiology Information System and Picture Archiving and Communication System to ensure data integrity and compliance with HIPAA and Joint Commission regulations. Evaluate new business opportunities, recommend improved protocols, and oversee departmental budgets and strategic resource planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Certification or licensure in one of the following areas: ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT) or ARRT(MRI) or ARRT(M), or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with ARDMS or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Five years' registered technologist experience
- One year's leadership experience
