Job Summary
Implement a comprehensive plan to meet income portfolio goals through signature events like Walk to Defeat ALS and local third-party fundraisers. Recruit, steward, and retain committee chairs and members while building relationships with community partners, corporate sponsors, and donors. Collaborate with Event Experience, Care Services, and MarCom teams to manage logistics, marketing objectives, and public relations. Execute face-to-face meetings, phone, and email outreach to drive engagement and support mission activities. Coordinate printing, distribution, and promotional materials while operating within budgetary guidelines. Ensure smooth integration of Association standards and attend required territory events and meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 2 years experience in fundraising, event management, volunteer development and management, public relations, donor cultivation and relations, corporate sponsor cultivation
- Skilled at managing participants in an online fundraising platform
- ability to run reports and analyze data to build strategic outreach plans
- Strong organizational skills
- Must exercise good judgment in prioritizing the scheduling of events
- must know when to seek input from supervisor
- Able to communicate both orally and in writing in a timely and effective manner to multiple constituencies
- Strong follow-up and follow-through
- Able to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality in working with sensitive, confidential records and information
- Demonstrated proficiency with a variety of computer programs in a Windows environment, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to quickly train and use a donor database (such as Salesforce and Blackbaud)
- Insured driver with access to an insured vehicle
- frequent travel throughout the territory
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Suite, Tableau, Greater Giving, and Spekit a plus for producing and/or editing program-specific materials, running reports, and accessing training
