Job Summary
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of C++ and Fullstack Software Developers, QA, and Business Analysts. Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure completion on time, within scope, and within budget. Implement and promote Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Provide technical direction, conduct performance reviews, and recommend pay actions while fostering a collaborative team culture. Collaborate with Product Managers to prioritize tasks and align development efforts with business goals. Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment are followed through robust testing and code review processes. Timely manage the investigation and resolution of production support issues and customer inquiries. Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, including designers and other development teams.
Required Qualifications

- Sets performance objectives, conducts performance reviews and recommends pay actions
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
- Defines a vision for the team in line with the department strategy and operational challenges and translates it into a concrete action plan
- Implement and promote Agile methodologies within the team
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Work closely with Product Managers to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and align development efforts with business goals
- Provide technical direction and support to the development team
- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment are followed
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software by implementing robust testing and code review processes
- Encourage continuous learning and improvement within the team
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Timely manage the investigation and resolution of production support issues and customer inquiries
- Collaborate with other software development, architecture, solutions, and QA teams to ensure that software systems are designed for testability, stability, scalability, and performance
- Proficiency in Java, full stack and good understanding of C++ OBE applications
- Strong understanding and experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience working closely with Product Managers and other cross-functional teams
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including Product Managers, designers, and other development teams
