Manager - Deal Advisory (VCS)

Job Summary
Lead complex transaction engagements across post-merger integration, carve-outs, and operational due diligence by owning synergy case development, validating standalone operating models, and advising client leadership on integration risks and trade-offs. Manage full project delivery including scope, budget, and resourcing while leading teams of three to six across multiple workstreams. Drive commercial outcomes by originating new work, leading proposals, and acting as the primary contact for senior stakeholders including C-suite and private equity partners. Challenge client assumptions with commercial insight to integrate findings into investment decision-making and manage escalations within governance forums.
Required Qualifications
- extensive work experience in value creation within a professional services/corporate finance firm
- background in another leading accounting or boutique advisory firm
- private equity
- investment banking
- industry corporate development roles
- Track record in leading full engagements or major workstreams across PMI / carve-outs
- CA and/or CFA qualifications
- Relevant degree or tertiary qualification
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong research skills
- M&A strategy specific skills
