Job Summary
Manager, Databases & IT at Active Minds leads the administration and optimization of Salesforce, DAM, ClickUp and related data platforms to support fundraising, programs, marketing, and operations. Responsible for standardizing and maintaining data, configuring Salesforce with 3rd-party integrations, training users to self-serve reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and system performance, evaluating new features, and guiding IT policy and procedures in collaboration with department leads. Works with multiple stakeholders to implement CRM strategies, manage data quality, and support IT software configuration and project delivery. Requires extensive Salesforce administration experience, strong data-management skills, and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical staff; role includes leadership in IT initiatives and collaboration with contractors as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
- Salesforce Certified Administrator preferred
- Preference for experience with NPSP and/or Nonprofit Cloud
- Experience with database-like file systems (CSV, spreadsheets) with Google Sheets/Excel proficiency
- Boolean logic, VLOOKUP, and related data manipulation skills
- SOQL or SQL fluency highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Database Administration, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred)
