Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain advanced analytics and machine learning solutions to drive business impact across digital payment performance. Lead end-to-end technical oversight of complex data science models, ensuring scalability, performance, and engineering excellence while establishing best practices for statistical analysis and feature engineering. Build robust data pipelines for large-scale datasets and deploy predictive algorithms aligned with product optimization, growth, and sales enablement objectives. Translate experimental findings into actionable insights for senior stakeholders and evaluate emerging AI technologies to identify innovative opportunities and risks. Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams to implement optimization solutions and ensure responsible, compliant AI frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Strong academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field—or equivalent work experience
- Experience in data management, mining, analytics, reporting, product development, and quantitative analysis
- Proficiency in Python, Spark, Hadoop platforms (Hive, Impala, Airflow, NiFi), and SQL
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks, libraries, data structures, and software architecture
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Effective as both a team player and a individual contributor
- Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed
- Report any suspected information security violation or breach
- Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard's guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with BI platforms like Tableau or Power BI is a plus
