Job Summary
Manager, Data Science & AI to lead AI/ML-driven insights for Pfizer’s Commercial organization. Responsibilities include delivering advanced analytical models, predictive algorithms, and AI-powered tools to inform brand/tas decisions; framing business questions, designing solutions, and communicating data-driven insights to stakeholders; collaborating cross-functionally within the Analytics POD and with Analytics Engineering, Digital teams, and other functions to integrate data science into decision-making; and guiding the end-to-end delivery of data science insights from problem framing to actionable recommendations. Required skills include experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores, Hadoop or large-scale distributed systems, programming languages such as Java, Python, R, Scala, and visualization tools like Dash, Tableau, and Angular. Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities are emphasized; pharmaceutical/healthcare industry experience preferred. On-site work 2-3x per week; EEO guidelines apply; global analytics culture and ongoing AI-use guidelines are highlighted.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience, preferably in engineering, economics, statistics, computer science, or related quantitative field.
- Advanced degree preferred with 0~2 years of experience in Applied Econometrics, Statistics, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Analytics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
