Job Summary
Own the roadmap, requirements, and delivery of the core components of the enterprise data platform, focusing on foundational capabilities such as ingestion, data pipelines, governance frameworks, and operationalizing platform reliability. Translate business and technical needs into data product requirements while collaborating with engineering to deliver high-quality platform features and services. Partner with data governance, security, and architecture teams on standards and compliance, helping to standardize event models, patterns, and governance across data products. Track KPIs related to data platform reliability, ingestion throughput, and data quality to ensure the foundational layer enables downstream analytics, ML, and application use cases. Gather feedback from internal users to continuously improve platform usability and performance, ensuring data product adoption and business enablement. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration, 6-8 years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager, and strong knowledge of modern data architectures and cloud-native services. On-site work at the assigned office location includes occasional adjusted schedules, overtime, and evening or weekend hours as business needs demand.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a business administration degree preferred
- 6-8 years' experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager
- Strong knowledge of modern data architectures, data engineering practices, and cloud-native services
- Experience building or supporting ingestion frameworks pipelines, or data quality systems
- Ability to simplify complex technical needs into clear, actionable product requirements
- Strong collaboration skills across engineering, architecture, and business team
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong writing and composition abilities

- Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls
- Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures
