Job Summary
Manager - Data Operations role leading Addepar's IBOR and Portfolio Data Operations functions. Oversees daily operational workflows, quality and timeliness of data delivery, root-cause analysis of reconciliation breaks, and the development of process controls and metrics to ensure SLA adherence. Partners with Product and Engineering to design and implement new tooling and scalable processes, coordinating across global teams (e.g., Pune and US) to drive automation and efficiency. Requires strong leadership, experience in financial services data operations, and technical fluency (SQL, Python/VBA); deep knowledge of equities, fixed income, corporate actions, and reconciliation processes. Role is hybrid in Pune, with requirement to work 3 days per week from the Pune office.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience in financial services, specializing in securities modeling, post-trade processing, or trade-surveillance systems
- leadership or people-management experience
- demonstrated experience driving large-scale operational change and cross-functional projects, specifically implementing automation and new data tooling
- expertise in reconciliation processes including position, transaction, and cash reconciliation; experience with break lifecycle management
- technical proficiency in SQL, Python/VBA, or equivalent scripting/querying languages
- familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters)
- strong communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and cross-functional collaboration
- ability to manage multiple processes, people, and projects simultaneously
- ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines (e.g., pre-market open delivery)
- hybrid work model experience or ability to coordinate global operations across offices
Additional Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the country where role is based on start date; visa sponsorship not available
- hybrid role requiring three days on-site at Pune office
