Job Summary
Manager, Data Management leads and operationalizes a firm-wide data quality and master data management program across client, contact, and matter domains; establishes data ownership models, defines KPIs/SLAs, drives accountability with business stakeholders, develops data quality scorecards, and guides remediation through root-cause analyses and scalable controls. Partners with Data Governance, Technology, and business leadership to implement policies while owning execution, measurement, and enforcement of data quality. Requires leadership of data management staff, documentation of standards and processes, and delivery of automation opportunities and tooling enhancements to improve data quality and governance across a global professional-services environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7+ years of experience in data management, data quality, data governance, or data stewardship
- Experience defining and implementing data quality metrics, KPIs, and performance reporting
- Familiarity with data governance tools, data catalogs, and data quality platforms
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL and CRM systems (e.g., MS Dynamics, Salesforce)
- Ability to supervise and coach data management staff
- Experience operating in a federated or distributed data ownership environment (preferred)
