Job Summary
Manager, Data Governance Platform responsible for leading access governance initiatives, implementing standardized entitlements and workflows across cloud and hybrid environments, coordinating enterprise access approvals, and aligning governance policies with platform leadership. Collaborates with engineering, IAM, cybersecurity, and compliance teams to operationalize access strategy, manage analytics cluster provisioning and observability tooling, and support remediation of access risks while ensuring compliance and timely delivery in a hybrid in-office/work-from-home setup (3+ days in office per Visa guidelines).
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree OR at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) OR 0 years of work experience with a PhD
- Minimum 5 years in access management, IAM operations, cloud security, or platform governance roles
- Working knowledge of IAM frameworks, entitlements, approval workflows, and policy enforcement
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) preferred
- Strong coordination and execution skills across engineering, security, and compliance teams
- Ability to operationalize governance standards and manage access workflows at scale
