Job Summary
Lead the design and delivery of scalable data pipelines and platforms supporting analytics, reporting, and AI use cases. Manage and mentor a team of data engineers while driving best practices in data quality, governance, and security. Oversee end-to-end project delivery, optimize workflows for performance, and ensure operational stability through monitoring. Partner with business, analytics, and cross-functional teams including Governance and AI/ML to translate requirements into solutions. This role resides within the GBSC Analytics & Automation team, enabling data-driven decision-making through automation and analytics capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in data engineering and ETL/ELT pipelines
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Experience with data platforms (Eg: Databricks)
- Understanding of data architecture (Lakehouse, Warehousing)
- Strong stakeholder and team management skills
- Experience working with large datasets and enterprise systems
- Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed
- Report any suspected information security violation or breach
- Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard's guidelines
