Job Summary
Lead a high-performing analytics team to diagnose engagement trends and audience behavior impacting Disney's strategic goals. Translate complex business questions into SQL, develop analytical frameworks, and communicate results to executive and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with Content Partnerships, Content Programming, Product/Engineering, Business Operations, Marketing, and other teams to drive content strategy and portfolio optimization for Disney+, Hulu, and related services. Monitor data changes, understand data pipelines, troubleshoot anomalies, and ensure data integrity. Mentor and develop analytics professionals, delivering actionable insights and compelling data-driven narratives through dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Looker. Requires a Bachelors or Masters in a quantitative field, 8+ years of strategic analysis, 5+ years SQL, and leadership experience; preferred background in streaming/direct-to-consumer analytics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
- 8+ years of strategic analysis to inform product or business decision making
- 5+ years of hands-on analytical work experience with SQL
- 3+ years leading high performing teams of technical analysts
- Experience with large, disparate data sets and ETL
- Strong communication and ability to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Tableau or Looker
- Knowledge of data pipelines and data integrity
