Job Summary
Provide independent assessment and advisory services to support accreditation and compliance activities for clients across government and critical infrastructure. Review security strategies, roadmaps, and recommendations while ensuring delivery of high-quality outcomes aligned to Australian Government and industry security requirements. Support and deliver complex cyber engagements including NIST CSF, ISO 27001, APRA CPS 234, NSW Cyber Security Policy, and the Essential 8. Supervise team members to build IRAP and assurance capability across the practice, mentor staff, and identify new business opportunities in regulated sectors. Translate technical findings into business insights for executive stakeholders and drive process improvements within the Cyber Security team.
Required Qualifications
- Certifications such CISM/CISSP/CISA/CRISC/ISO 27001 Lead Auditor
- Prior experience in cyber security consulting or internal advisory roles
- Solid knowledge of cyber security standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, ACSC Essential 8)
- Strong foundation in security governance, operating model design, and assurance services
- Understanding of network infrastructure and security architecture principles
- Experience delivering threat risk assessments and cyber transformation programs
- Well-developed communication skills and ability to translate technical findings into business insights
Desired Qualifications
- Interest in developing knowledge of IRAP, ISM, PSPF, and Australian Government regulatory frameworks
