Job Summary
Lead multiple client-facing engagement teams responsible for managing U.S. and combined U.S.-Canadian individual income tax return preparation for U.S. citizens living in Canada, U.S. residents working in Canada and Canadians working and investing in the U.S.; assist in cross-border income tax and estate planning; deliver expertise on Canadian and U.S. taxation, social security, and international tax treaties; participate in expatriate policy and compensation design; oversee engagement planning and project financials including budgets and billing; review tax returns for accuracy; network for business development; contribute to process improvements; mentor and develop team members; flexible to travel.
Required Qualifications
- CPA designation
- 4 to 5 years of relevant public accounting or tax consulting experience
- Working knowledge of Canadian and U.S. individual and income tax
- Extensive working knowledge of 1040, 8621, 5471 and 3520
