Job Summary
Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 30 credit analysts and collectors across multiple locations while managing workload allocation and succession planning. Establish and administer credit policies, risk frameworks, and approval authorities aligned with corporate risk appetite, then review and approve credit applications and customer credit limits above delegated thresholds. Monitor portfolio quality, identify emerging risk concentrations, and recommend adjustments proactively, acting as the AML subject matter resource to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain divisional risk assessment models, lead the annual credit review process, and drive DSO reduction initiatives to manage aging to established KPIs. Oversee collections, escalate complex accounts, and develop enterprise-level dashboards to provide leadership with visibility into portfolio health. Partner with sales and operations to balance credit risk with commercial objectives while leveraging AI and automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual administrative work.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Commerce
- Minimum 6 - 8 years' experience in Progressive credit and collections
- Strong communication skills and experience being client facing
- Proven track record of managing large volume AR portfolios and collections across large geography
Desired Qualifications
- Background in industrial equipment, heavy equipment, B2B wholesale, or rental
- Credit Institute of Canada (CCP) designate or equivalent
