Job Summary
Review complex credit applications, policy exception requests, and escalated matters to provide risk-based decision support and recommendations. Monitor trends in client exceptions, analyze root causes, and recommend process or control enhancements. Partner with business leaders to resolve high-impact escalations while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and lending policies. Oversee quality assurance reviews, evaluate compliance findings, and develop corrective action plans to mitigate emerging risks. Prepare and present quality assurance reporting, metrics, and key insights to management. Deliver targeted training and coaching materials based on audit and compliance results. This role supports continuous improvement within the mortgage lending department at IGM Financial Inc., a leading wealth and asset management company managing over $310 billion in assets.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the mortgage lending industry
- A strong background in underwriting
- Development of lending guidelines
