Job Summary

Ensure ongoing credentialing and re-credentialing of providers by applying logical thinking to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions. Supervise workers by interpreting work procedures, assigning specific duties, and maintaining harmonious relations to promote efficiency. Manage computer systems for reporting and presentation of information while performing advanced reading, writing, and speaking tasks with attention to detail. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years of credentialing experience, and proficiency in Excel, with a preference for candidates in the Buffalo, NY area for periodic onsite needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of credentialing or provider data experience
  • Experience in a managed care or insurance environment
  • Ability to supervise others: determining or interpreting work procedures for a group of workers, assigning specific duties to them, maintaining harmonious relations among them, and promoting efficiency
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to use computer systems for the management, reporting and presentation of information, as well as correspondence
  • Perform reading, writing and speaking at an advanced level, demonstrating good oral and written communication skills, as well as attention to details
  • Ability to perform duties to ensure the on going credentialing and re-credentialing of providers
  • Apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Deal with system of real numbers; related algebraic solution of equations and inequalities; limits and continuity; and probability and statistical inference
  • Practical application of fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, practical algebra, and geometric construction

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficient in Excel highly preferred
  • Preference for candidates located in the Buffalo, NY area to support periodic in-person meetings, audits, conferences and other onsite business needs
