Job Summary
Manage the M&A target pipeline by capturing data, tracking progress, and generating periodic updates. Support the transaction lifecycle through preliminary assessments, coordinating due diligence workstreams, and building financial models to inform management decisions. Draft investment papers, conduct industry research and comparable transaction analysis, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal segments and external advisors. Execute integration and separation planning for acquisitions and divestitures while performing sensitivity and scenario analyses. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 5–6 years of M&A experience, including financial due diligence and valuation. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data tools like Capital IQ is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 5 to 6 years of proven experience in M&A or transaction services
- Hands-on experience supporting M&A transactions — including financial due diligence, valuation, financial modelling, and deal documentation
Desired Qualifications
- professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent)
- ideally combining financial due diligence (Big 4 Transaction Services / Deals Advisory) with corporate finance or M&A advisory exposure (Investment Banking or Big 4 Corporate Finance)
- Experience in cross-border, multi-jurisdictional transactions, with exposure to mid-market deal sizes (approximately USD50m–500m)
- Exposure to financial services, professional services, fund services, or business services sectors
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
- High level of analytical rigor, attention to detail, and commercial judgment
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to prepare clear, decision-useful materials for senior stakeholders and work effectively in a team
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications
