Manager, Corporate Accounting

Job Summary
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the corporate accounting function, including the monthly close, general ledger, account reconciliations, accounts payable, revenue recognition, fixed assets, cash management, and intercompany transactions. Review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses prepared by accountants, providing feedback, coaching, and development. Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting policies while helping to develop, document, and maintain internal controls. Supervise and mentor accounting staff to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Prepare and review income statement and balance sheet variance analysis for monthly financial review. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership capabilities, and collaboration across departments.

- Solid understanding of internal controls, month-end close, and enterprise financial systems.
- Supervisory skills, including the ability to review others' work, coach, and develop staff.
- Ability to identify and resolve accounting and financial problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail with a passion for accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 1–3 years in a supervisory or lead role
Desired Qualifications
- Public accounting and/or multi-entity or healthcare industry experience a plus.
- Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities with a positive, proactive attitude.
